Ask which offering matches your needs: a persistent machine, virtual environments, or a managed desktop experience. Compare the onboarding and operational requirements with the way your team already builds and tests. Do not assume a fleet-oriented product and a single dedicated Mac are interchangeable.

Mac Mini Vault offers Mac mini hosting and dedicated Mac servers. It is another relevant option for a shortlist centered on access to Mac hardware.

Request the exact configuration, location, remote-access details, availability, and ongoing management responsibilities. Compare those answers against your existing service and your required tools. Product availability and configuration options can change, so use the provider’s current quote rather than an old search-result snippet.

For build-only needs, you may not need a rental

If you never need to open a Mac desktop and only want signed build artifacts, include a suitable hosted build service in the comparison. Expo EAS Build is one example for Expo and React Native projects. It is not a general-purpose replacement for a remote Mac and should be judged against your framework and release workflow.
