My Cloud Mac policies

Acceptable use & abuse

1. Use the service lawfully

You are responsible for activity carried out using your rented Mac, authorised users, installed software, and automated agents. Use the service only for lawful purposes and with permission from the owners of systems, accounts, networks, and data you access. Keep your environment secure and act promptly when an account or agent is compromised.

2. Prohibited activity

3. AI agents and automation

The same rules apply to OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Apteva, and any other agent or automation you install. You must authorise connected accounts and give agents only the access needed for their tasks. Use human review for consequential actions and protect API keys and credentials.

Do not use agents to carry out fraud, spam, unauthorised surveillance, unlawful scraping, security attacks, or other prohibited activity. You are responsible for checking outputs before publishing or acting on them. An agent’s mistake or autonomous execution does not exempt the activity from these rules.

AI software, model providers, and connected services have their own terms and usage charges. We provide the rented Mac; we do not automatically monitor, approve, or manage every action your agent takes.

4. Resource use and security testing

Stay within the hardware and network limits stated in your order. Persistent activity that threatens service availability or the security of the host network may be restricted. Cryptocurrency mining, open public proxy services, and outbound load or penetration testing require prior written agreement.

Security research must be limited to systems you own or have explicit authority to test, and must comply with any agreed testing boundaries. Report a suspected issue responsibly; do not access unrelated data or disrupt service to demonstrate it.

5. Reporting abuse

Use the abuse contact on the legal information page. Include the relevant IP address or URL, dates and times with timezone, a description of the activity, supporting logs or other proportionate evidence, and a way to contact you. For rights complaints, identify the affected work or right and your authority to report it.

Do not send passwords, live access tokens, or illegal material as attachments. A description and location of the material is enough for an initial report. Immediate threats to life or physical safety should also be reported to the appropriate emergency services.

6. Investigation, action and review

We assess reports in context and may request further information. Where proportionate and lawful, we may restrict traffic, isolate a Mac, suspend access, preserve relevant evidence, or terminate service. We may act immediately where there is a credible urgent security threat, serious unlawful activity, or legal requirement.

Where possible, we will notify the customer of the reason, any required corrective action, and how to request review. Notification may be delayed where legally prohibited or where it would undermine an investigation. We do not promise that every report will result in removal or suspension.

If you believe a restriction is mistaken, contact us with your order reference, the decision you dispute, and supporting information. We will review the issue and communicate the outcome. Data access, retention, disclosure, and any refund remain subject to the agreement and applicable law.
